Projects & Films
The PROJECT "Look At Us, We Are People, Too!" is a series of short films and documentaries aiming to raise awareness and educate the public about the issues of loneliness, depression and social exclusion amongst disadvantaged groups in our society.
We at present are in the developing stages of:
-
"Our Young, Our Tomorrow" - a short documentary addressing the issues of loneliness, depression and social exclusion amongst young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
-
"The Forgotten" - a short documentary exploring the issues of loneliness, isolation and depression in older age.
-
"Mums Deserve Flowers, Don't They?" is a story of a lonely and isolated old lady just after her husband's death. It's a tender, poetic and powerful story reminding us of "the forgotten" elderly and our duty and social responsibility towards them.
-
"The Unsung Heroes" - a short documentary about the challenges of carers who suffer from loneliness, isolation and depression.
-
"Look at Me" - a short documentary focusing on the issues of loneliness, depression and social exclusion amongst people with facial disfigurements.
-
"Prelude" is a short film about a young man with facial disfigurement, following his fight with loneliness and depression as he tries to overcome his fear of rejection.
The PROJECT "Learn on Set" is a training program for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds interested in the magic of filmmaking. Young persons are 'attached' to industry professionals during film productions giving them the opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge.
